Q: What do I do if I cannot find an Authorized Dealer in my area?
We work with many types of dealers who service other major brands. Contact us at
support@evergreenev.com for more help on working with your local dealer.
Helpful Hint! – Give your local dealer the email address and invite them to contact us directly.
Q: How do I maintain my batteries?
See the instructions found in your User Manual or see your local dealer. The basic rules for the best battery life are:
 1. Proper water levels in the batteries (only fill to full mark AFTER charging but make sure the lead plates are covered before charging).
 2. Keep terminals clean.
 3. Do not over discharge. Only use 80% of the capacity. If you use the vehicle until it stops running you have over-discharged. This will shorten the life of your battery.
 4. Charge often. This prevents over-discharge and promotes longer life.
 5. Extreme battery temperatures affect range and battery life. Very cold and hot temperatures will affect your batteries.
Helpful Hint! - Install a battery watering system – makes it quick, easy and accurate. We recommend the Pro-Fill system by Flow Rite. Your dealer can provide you with more information.
Q: Can I work on my own car and not void the warranty?
The User Manual that came with your vehicle is clear that all warranty work must be performed by an authorized dealer. The reason is to insure the repairs are done properly and your car functions as intended.
Helpful Hint! - Please seek an authorized dealer through our dealer locator (see the first question).
Q. What is the value of my vehicle?
As far as we know, no one has published a "blue book" for these types of vehicles. The best way to know is to shop around with your local dealers to find out the price of vehicles similar to yours, check the internet and for sale by owner listings.
Q: Where can I find after-market parts for my vehicle?
Your local dealer has many sources for bolt on accessory items, custom enclosures, tire and wheel combinations, plus many other items. You can also do a Google search for parts by your vehicle type. www.buggiesunlimited.com is a very popular site for end users.
Q: Will installing aftermarket electrical parts VOID my warranty?
The simple answer is yes…to the extent that the aftermarket item has damaged the vehicle. This is very important with electronics since improper installation can cause an electrical failure to your vehicle. Over sized tires and suspension modifications can result in changes to the center of gravity or excessive wear to critical components.
Helpful Hint! - Working with an authorized dealer and using sound judgment is always a good rule in safety and protecting your investment.
